QR menu, guest feedback and tips for Yerevan restaurants, from a card on the table
The guest scans, opens your menu, rates the service privately and can tip. You know how it went while they are still seated.

We are looking for our first ten venues in Yerevan.
You hear about a bad table in seconds, not next week on Google.
Any rating of three stars or below reaches your phone within seconds: the table, who served them, the score and what they wrote.
More detail
The message names the table or room, the person the guest picked, the score out of five, the comment word for word, the time and the language. The score and the table are readable on the lock screen.
Miss it, and it is still there, and in your Monday summary. You can mute a table for the rest of the shift from the message. Messages arrive in Telegram; a venue without Telegram gets them by email.
Every guest is invited to leave a public review.
You hear about it before it is public. The invitation to leave a public review is the same for every guest, whatever they rated privately.
We never offer anything in exchange for a review.
Google and TripAdvisor for Armenian and English, Yandex Maps and 2GIS for Russian.
More detail
The private rating is for you: how the visit went and who served the guest. It is never published. The public review is for everyone else, on the sites where people already look for a place to eat.
The language of the page decides which sites the guest is pointed to. Nothing else changes the invitation.
Your menu on the guest’s own phone.
Your menu on the guest’s phone, in the language you give it to us.
Send us a PDF or photos of your printed menu. Free.
More detail
To start, we take your menu as it is — a PDF, or photos of the printed pages. Later, if you want, we set it out as a list of items with prices: easier on a small screen, easier to change.
The menu is shown in the language you supply it in. Translation is a paid service.
Cashless tips, to the person who earned them.
The guest tips the person who served them, or the team, from any card. Switched on venue by venue.
The 6.5% service fee on a tip is covered by the guest, so you pay nothing and your staff receive the full amount.
More detail
Each of your team gets their own page with their own ratings and their own tips. It is theirs, not a comparison between colleagues.
A card for one person — a badge, a mirror card — skips the choice. Amounts can be shown in drams, dollars or roubles.
Nothing to install. Nothing changes at your till.
We bring the printed cards. Your staff carry on exactly as before.
More detail
Every card carries your venue’s name and our address, teytip.am. When a guest scans it, the page shows your venue’s name at the top. To check a card, scan it yourself: the name and the table on the page should match the card in your hand.

Included: the printed cards, the menu on the guest’s phone, the private ratings, the messages to your phone, the Monday summary and cashless tips for your team. Translating a menu is a paid service.
Your own back-office, and a summary every Monday.
The feedback feed, your team, your tables, your menu, your settings.
Every Monday: ratings by person, the week’s trend, review click-throughs, scan rate.
More detail
The feedback feed shows every rating as it comes in — table, person, score, comment, time — and lets you mark the ones you have dealt with.
We are new, and you would be one of our first ten venues in Yerevan.

We have not run this in a venue yet. That is why the pilot is free, and why I am the one who visits and answers the phone.
Questions
What exactly does a guest see when they scan?
A page in Armenian, Russian or English with your venue’s name at the top and, on a table or room card, the number. Below that, three choices: the menu, a short rating of the person who served them, and a tip. Nothing to install, nothing to sign up for. The guest never gives us a name, a phone number or an email address.
Do we need new hardware, or any change to our till?
No. The cards are printed; the guest uses their own phone. Your till, your card terminal and the way your staff take orders and payments stay exactly as they are. Nothing to plug in, nothing to install on a computer, nothing for your staff to learn beyond what the card on the table is for. If you stop, we collect the cards and nothing else has changed.
How long does setup take, and what do you need from us?
About 15 minutes of your time, in one visit. We need your venue’s name, the tables or rooms the cards go on, the first names of the people who serve guests, your menu as a PDF or photos, and the phone that should receive the messages. We do the rest: assigning the cards, setting up the review links, connecting the alerts. You can add or change people later yourself.
What does it cost, and what happens after the pilot?
During the pilot it is free for your venue: the cards, the menu, the ratings, the messages, the Monday summary and tips. The guest covers the 6.5% service fee on a tip, so you pay nothing and your staff receive the full amount. Translating a menu is paid separately. We tell you before the pilot ends what comes next, and you can stop any time by asking us to collect the cards.
What if a guest does not want to scan, or has no mobile data?
Then nothing happens, and that is fine. The card is an invitation, not a step in the service: your paper menu, your bill folder and your staff work as they always have. Most guests in Yerevan have a phone with data, and the page is small enough for a slow connection. A guest who does not scan simply does not appear in your ratings. We never ask your staff to push it.
Who sees the private ratings, and who sees the public reviews?
The private rating and comment go to you — on your phone and in your back-office — and to nobody else. They are never published. The public review is written by the guest on Google, TripAdvisor, Yandex Maps or 2GIS and is public like any review there. Every guest gets the same invitation, whatever they rated privately, and we never offer anything in exchange for a review.
Can guests leave a tip, and how does the money reach our staff?
Yes, where tipping is switched on for your venue. The guest picks a person or the team and pays from any bank card. The guest covers the 6.5% service fee, so you pay nothing and your staff receive the full amount. Each person on your team sees their own tips on their own page. How tips reach each person is agreed with you when tipping is switched on for your venue.
How do we know the card on our table is really ours?
Every card we print carries your venue’s name and our address, teytip.am. When you scan it, the page shows your venue’s name and the table number at the top. If either is missing or wrong, the card is not one of yours — call us and we replace it. Only cards we printed for you are linked to your venue, your team and your menu.
Who are you, and what happens after I send this form?
A small team in Yerevan, new to this, looking for our first ten venues. After you send the form, Artyom calls you within one business day. On the call we say honestly what works today, answer your questions and, if you want to go ahead, agree a time to visit. No automatic email or message — the call is the answer. A venue outside Yerevan hears that honestly too.
